What successes/failures has this organization had?

A sucession they wuld of had is getting young teens involved in this organization. The organization has had its buget increased in 2007 to $2.6billon. But even though it sounds like there doing great there were come criticism, one girl from Africa has "been part of a World Vision program all her life" yet says (in translated subtitle) "Until recently, I didn't know I had a sponsor." and when asked about her knowledge of World Vision sponsorship says "Last time they gave me this jacket and a pen."(wikipedia) so have world vision been sending all the sponsered money to that girl for just cheap rip offs? The only thing they had to say was "told by World Vision that [the girl] was learning English at school, and was improving...she speaks no English at all."(wikipedia)

What actions does the organization take to achieve its goals?

This organization holds the 30 hour famine, where citizens take 30 hours without eating and raise money from donations towards the organization. I know this because I have dont the 30 hour famine for 4 years

This organization operates in many different places around the worlds but right know they are working in Haiti because of the earthquake that happened.

What are the main goals or missions of the organization?

Well being of all people, especially children, trying giving them a better life.

What caused the organizatio to be created?

Is an international christian relief and development organization whose stated goal is "to follow our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in working with the poor and oppressed to promote human transformation, seek justice and bear witness to the good news of the Kingdom of God."(wikipedia). So over all this organization was created to help out 3rd world countries.
